My name is Niek van Gorp, born in 1988, and I consider myself a Technical Artist. Currently I am active as a Rigging artist at Grid-VFX in Ghent (Belgium). I got to this position after successfully completing my education in Game Architecture and Design at NHTV University of Applied Science. 

I like to specialize in 3 fields of technical art, namely:
  • Rigging
  • Procedural Content
  • Tool Development  

Video games have always been a big part of my life and I love being on the developing side. However, the last couple of years especially, I've also developed a big interrest in VFX and Animations.
